Seaside Police station floods Sunday

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The police station in Seaside announced that they flooded Sunday afternoon, "causing quite the scene and significant damage to our department," they wrote on their Facebook page.

They assured the public that the incident will not affect public safety, but their records department will be working on how to answer phones at the front desk.

Seaside police did not specify what caused the flood.

The dispatch line remains open for nonemergency calls and emergency calls should dial 9-1-1.
