5.5 magnitude earthquake strikes near Northern California border

YERINGTON, Nev. (KION-TV) Monday afternoon at 3:08 p.m., an earthquake registering 5.5 shook homes throughout Northern California.

The quake's epicenter was 14 miles NNE of Yerington Nevada, with a depth of 5.6 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS.)

There have been reports of people feeling the quake all over the Northern California area.
