King City Police confirms deadly shooting investigation underway Sunday afternoon

KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- King City Police confirms at least one person is dead after a shooting in King City on Sunday afternoon.

Police say it happened along the 800 block of Willow Street around 2:30 p.m.

People who live nearby reached out to KION and say they heard about six gunshots around that time.

Police say their detectives were just arriving on scene when KION initially reached out about the shooting shortly after.

No information about a victim was provided or description of a suspect.
