Ice Skating by the Bay returns to Monterey this holiday season

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Ice Skating by the Bay is once again bringing winter magic back to the Monterey Bay area from November 22 through January 5, 2025.

The seasonal ice skating rink will be returning to the Custom House Plaza behind Portola Hotel & Spa from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and again 12 until 8 p.m. on Sundays (including holidays).

The rink has adjusted hours from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. between December 5 and 8, and again on the 12th through the 15th.

Admission for this year's Ice Skating by the Bay is $15 for adults with children 12 and under being $13. The skate rental fee is $5 and people can purchase a season pass for $225. There is also a military discount on Mondays (buy one get one free with a limit of six people per military ID).
