Pet of the Week: Meet Max!
Meet Max, a super-friendly six-month-old kitten who is the last of his litter of four awaiting a furrever home. Max and his brothers were found behind a grocery store in Gonzales without their mom and quickly placed into foster care. Max is a handsome brown tabby boy who has already been
neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so he’s eager to find his furrever family!
Max is a very curious boy who loves meeting new people and is not shy about demanding his share of attention from them. This talkative and confident boy is well-suited for a home
with other animals, as he was fostered with both other kittens and dogs. Max is an active boy who
gravitates towards toys he can chase after, especially the mouse on his wand toy.
He has a strong attraction to water and will play with his water fountain endlessly. He’s even been known to jump in the tub when the shower’s running! Once he works off some kitten energy, Max likes to settle in for a little
kitten nap, especially if there’s an open lap. But if not, he’s equally happy napping right next to you. Max
is still a high energy kitten and will thrive in a home with high activity levels, especially if he will have
two or four-legged animals as companions.
If you are interested in adopting Max, you can submit an adoption application at www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org.
Our Neighborhood Pet Project's next adoption event is coming up in a few days on Saturday, October 26th, from 11 am until 2 pm at the PetSmart in Salinas. There will be both cats and dogs of all ages ready to greet you! Please stop by and say hello!
