Police investigate whether carbon monoxide killed 3 people in British care home

LONDON (AP) — Police say they are looking into whether carbon monoxide poisoning killed three people in a care home in southern England. Dorset Police say the gas poisoning is their primary line of inquiry in the deaths they termed as “unexplained.” Seven other people have been hospitalized as a precaution. Police say the home has been evacuated and there is no wider risk. A gas company says it was called to the Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage to make safety checks.
