Small vegetation fire broke out at Fort Hunter Liggett Tuesday afternoon

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION0-TV) -- U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett announced a small vegetation fire off of San Miguelito Loop Tuesday afternoon.

They said that there is no immediate danger to the community and that the fire was at 1,500 acres with 20% containment as of around 4 p.m.

Firefighters are supporting the FHL Fire Department in containment efforts, according to Fort Hunter Liggett.
