Prescribed burn Tuesday near Eagle Rock in the Santa Cruz Mountains

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) -- CAL FIRE CZU said they were performing prescribed burns in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of Boulder Creek on Tuesday.

They confirmed that the burns would take place in the Eagle Rock area on private land.

CAL FIRE CZU also said that the fire was expected to burn at around 26 acres and is planned to be out by Tuesday evening.
