The District Attorney's office says that on December 26, 2021, Ayron and three other gang members (including Raul Lucas who was sentenced to 58 Years to Life in 2022, also on this case) drove to Sussex Way in King City, where they ambushed victims.

The two men exited their vehicle in front of the victims' house and shot numerous times, killing the two victims, according the the D.A.'s office.

King City street cameras were able to capture the license plate of the suspect's vehicle, and a search warrant was served at their Salinas residence, said the D.A.'s office. The D.A. also said that one of the firearms used in the murders was located.

The District Attorney's office says that Ayron--who had fled after the murders--was found nine months later in a rural area of Groveland by a task force comprised of numerous jurisdictions.

The D.A.'s office announced that Ayron will be sentenced on December 4 and he agreed to receive 70 Years-to-Life in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations for the two murders.

King City Police, Monterey Police, Salinas Police, the Monterey County D.A.'s Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marchalls Fugitive Task Force all came together to investigate this case, according to the District Attorney's office.
