Pet of the Week: Meet Frenchie!
Meet Frenchie! He is part of a litter of six rescued from a feral mama in Royal Oaks after they were
old enough to be weaned and prepared for adoption. The entire litter will be spayed or neutered in the coming week and be available for adoption afterwards.
Frenchie is a curious and playful gray tabby who is about 10 weeks old and living with his five siblings in a foster home in Salinas. He and his brothers and sister all get along and love chasing and playing with each other. Frenchie is also partial to laps and will happily take his play breaks in the nearest available lap, often dozing off for a kitten nap before resuming play.
Of course, stretching out on a soft blanket is also an option! He loves his chew toys and chasing after balls with bells in them. At his young age, Frenchie would do best in an active home and
any children should be over five years old. He would prefer playmates as well, and could easily be paired
with a sibling if there aren’t already animals in the home to keep him company.
If you are interested in adopting Frenchie, you can submit an adoption application at www.ourneighborhoodpetproject.org.
Their next adoption event is this Saturday, August 3rd, at the Salinas Farmers Market. Because the Salinas
Food and Wine Festival is also Saturday, their adoption event hours are being extended, so come out and
meet our adoptable kittens and puppies from 9 am until 3 pm!
