Associated Press

DENPASAR, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian immigration authorities have detained 103 Taiwanese people after a raid at a villa on the resort island of Bali. An immigration enforcement official said those detained were accused of misusing their visas and residence permits. They are also suspected of conducting cybercrimes but cannot be charged in Indonesia. Safar Muhammad Godam, an immigration official at the law ministry, said the group targeted victims in Malaysia, so fulfilling the requirements of criminal law in Indonesia would be difficult. He said the group would be deported soon.
