Jason Momoa greets fans at a Carmel Valley grocery store

CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. (KION-TV)- It is not every day that a superhero visits the Central Coast.

On Tuesday, actor Jason Momoa was spotted in Carmel Valley to promote his new vodka brand Meili Vodka. Momoa co-founded the drink company with Blaine Halvorson.

Momoa who is known for his roles as Aquaman and Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones was promoting his new brand at the Safeway grocery store at the Crossroads Shopping Center.

Multiple people who met Momoa tell KION that he was interacting with fans, taking pictures and even taking some vodka shots.
