Local church to host free Fourth of July Fireworks show at Salinas Sports Complex

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- For the first time in nearly a decade, the Salinas Sports Complex will be home to a Fourth of July Fireworks show. The show is being produced by Compass Church.

The show called Celebrate America starts at 2 p.m. with a festival. A medal ceremony for veterans will run from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the fireworks show beginning shortly after.

The event is free for the community.
