Christian McCaffery to be on the ‘Madden 25’ cover
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KION-TV)- Run CMC will be heading to video game stores.
EA Sports announced that San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffery will be on the cover of "Madden 25."
McCaffery becomes the first 49ers player to grace the cover of the famed video game since running back Garrison Hearst was on the cover for "Madden NFL 99".
The Stanford Alum said it is a "lifelong dream come true!" in a post on social media.
McCaffery is the first running back to appear on the cover in more than a decade.
Besides the 2024 Super Bowl Loss, it has been an offseason to remember for McCaffery.
He recently signed a two-year contract extentsion that will keep him in the Red and Gold through the 2027 season. He is the highest-paid running back in league history.
He had a career-high 1,459 rushing yards and 2,023 yards from scrimmage with 21 total touchdowns.
