Marina man arrested after being in possession of illegal firearms, police say
MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV)- Monterey Police arrested a Marina man on Thursday after officers found equipment used to make firearms.
According to a Monterey Police Lieutenant, Monterey and Marina Police Officers served a search warrant on the 3000 block of Kennedy Court in Marina.
Officers identified the suspect as 37-year-old Richard Hall. Police said Hall allegedly broke into multiple vehicle and storage unit burglaries in Monterey and Salinas.
Investigators said Hall is suspected of burglarizing twenty different locations around Monterey County.
During the search warrant, officers located tools and equipment to make firearms, personal paperwork belonging to other people, and numerous items that were previously reported stolen.
Hall was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on multiple charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, identity theft, possession of a loaded firearm with a vehicle and possession of burglary tools.
Hall's bail was set at $100,000.
