Multiple fire crews put out structure fire on Lockwood Jolon Road

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- Pine Canyon Firefighters responded to a structure fire along Lockwood San Lucas Road and Lockwood Jolon Road.

The structure was engulfed just before 5 a.m. on Monday morning. In the photos you can see a structure that was there has burned down and part of the structure is resting on top of the burned up car.

A battalion chief with The South Monterey County Fire Protection District told KION that the sole occupant of the house was able to evacuate the home.

A house along with a couple of cars were destroyed in the fire per firefighters.

Firefighters said that the resident did not need help from the American Red Cross and has family in the area.

Pine Canyon Firefighters said no one was injured in the incident.
