Eva Banuelos appointed to Soledad City Council

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION-TV)- The City of Soledad has appointed a new city councilmember.

A city official told KION that Eva Banuelos was appointed to the vacant council seat left by Ben Jimenez.

However, since the City has decided to transition to District-Based elections starting in November, Banuelos cannot run again for her current appointment.
