Oakland firefighters respond to 3-alarm house fire

OAKLAND, Calif. (KION-TV/KPIX) -- Oakland Firefighters were able to knock down a house fire Tuesday at a home near Laney College.

Multiple fire units responded to the scene at 6th Avenue and E. 8th Street around 1:30 p.m.

Crews at the scene say the fire started spreading to a neighboring house when the third alarm was called.

So far no injuries have been reported.
