Santa Cruz Police gets donations for their K9 unit
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV)- The Santa Cruz Police Department announced that their K9 officers Ranger and Octaine got new ballistic vests to wear thanks to a donation from a non-profit organization.
Brady's K9 Fund donated the ballistic vests to the Santa Cruz Police over the weekend.
Police said that Brady's K9 Fund was founded by an 8-year-old boy who felt K9 officers deserve body armor, just like their human partners.
The organization is dedicated to providing essential equipment and resources to these brave K9s throughout the country.
