Highway 152 reopens after overturned big rig causes traffic delay

GILROY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- UPDATE ON MAY 30, 2024 AT 3:39 PM- The California Highway Patrol said that a part of Highway 152 has reopened after a big rig truck overturned early Thursday morning.

An CHP Hollister-Gilroy officer told KION the Highway 152 between Ferguson Road and Frazier Lake Road reopened just before noon. The driver of the big rig truck suffered minor injuries.

Overturned big rig shuts down Highway 152 near Gilroy

Highway 152 near Gilroy is shut down after a big rig overturned in the area early Thursday morning.

The CHP said Highway 152 between Ferguson Road and Frazier Lake will be closed for some time and to avoid the area.

An estimated time for reopening the road is unknown at this time.
