Cooler Weekend

A weak weather system will slide in on Saturday. Instead of rain, the biggest impacts will be clouds, breezy conditions, and cooler temperatures. In fact, a reinforcing blow of cooler air will come in Sunday into Monday leaving the start to next week quite chilly. Additional weak weather systems will slide by next week with potential rain chances.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy early with patchy drizzle possible. Coastal lows in the 40s with mid 30s to 40s inland. Periods of clouds with a few sprinkles possible during the afternoon. Cooler and breezy at times with highs in the mid 50s to mid 60s.

Sunday: Mostly clear, but cooler and breezy with highs mainly in the 50s.

Extended: Cool afternoons and chilly mornings early next week all under mostly clear skies. A weak weather system will pass by on Wednesday with the possibility of some light rain. Another similar system will slide by on Friday with better rain chances next weekend.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for January 11th – 17th calls for the likelihood of BELOW normal temperatures and ABOVE normal precipitation.
