Cool and showery through midweek

Widespread showers will be the weather story the next few days, as one weather system is located to the south, and another system prepares to spread south over the state Monday night. Cool, unsettled conditions will continue through Wednesday night. Showers could linger in the south through Thursday.

Dryer and warmer weather is forecast for later in the week.

Monday: A few light showers throughout the day with cooler weather. Highs will be in the 50s to lows 60s.

Tuesday: Scattered showers. Cooler. Highs will be in the 50s for most.

Extended: Cooler, showery weather can be expected through Wednesday with highs in the 50s. We’ll clear out by Thursday with warmer, more seasonable weather by the weekend.                                                                                                                                            
The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for March 28th – April 3rd  calls for the likelihood of BELOW temperatures and near normal precipitation.
