ZACH WEATHER

The next weather system will slide down the coast mid-week week, as lower pressure develops in Southern California. The system could tap into some tropical moisture, which may then wrap back around to the north. We will have to monitor the potential for showers, but it appears the main effect will be an increase in clouds.

Sunday: Sunny and even warmer, with widespread upper 60s to upper 70s on the coast and 70s-80s inland. Occasionally breezy over the ridgetops.

Overnight: Clear skies.  Expect lows in the low 40s along the coast with 30s-40s inland.

Extended: Some cooling can be expected on the coast Monday with a few low clouds possible, but it will still be warm inland. All areas will cool on Tuesday as onshore flow strengthens ahead of the next weather system. Some precipitation may be possible in the Wednesday-Thursday time frame as a system swings through.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for November 21st - 29th calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and BELOW normal precipitation.
