5.5 Earthquake shakes up California Coast

EUREKA, Calif. (KION-TV)- A preliminary 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Northern California on Sunday morning.

The United State Geological Survey said that the earthquake hit around 11:44 a.m. The origin of the quake occurred just 75 miles southwest of Eureka.

There have been no reports of damage or if anyone was injured.
