Watsonville man arrested for illegal fireworks, 350 pounds seized

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV) - A man from Watsonville was arrested for possessing and selling illegal fireworks.

According to Watsonville Police, the man arrested had been discovered to have a large amount of fireworks in his car, which led to his home being searched in Gilroy.

Upon searching the home, Gilroy Police found close to 350 pounds of illegal fireworks and seized them over he weekend.

The case will now be overseen by the Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office.
