DUI driver crashes into home in Greenfield, ending vehicle pursuit

GREENFIELD, Calif. (KION-TV) - A man was arrested for DUI after driving into the doorway of a home in Greenfield on Wednesday night.

According to the Greenfield Police, the car crashed into the home a little after 9 p.m. when officers began to pursue the driver near Oak Avenue and 11th Street for a possible DUI.

As they attempted to catch up, the driver sped up and crashed into a home on the 1200 block of Elm Avenue.

The driver was identified as 19-year-old Fredy Melo Najera from Greenfield after he was found after leaving the crash site.

No one inside the home was injured during the crash.
