Seaside Police arrest suspect in Sunday shooting that injured a minor

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Seaside Police announced they arrested the suspect in a shooting back on Sunday.
Police identified the suspect as 22-year-old Reggie Williams.
Police said he was arrested while driving along Highway 68 near Pebble Beach earlier Monday.
Investigators said Williams shot and injured a minor on Sunday, leaving the minor with a head injury.
Police said during the arrest, Williams was found with a firearm and ammunition.
Williams is facing attempted murder and weapons charges.
One person shot in Sunday shooting in Seaside
One person has been shot during a shooting incident in Seaside this Sunday afternoon.
According to Seaside Police, officers are investigating a shooting near Luzern Street and St. Elmo Place that happened around 3:30 p.m.
The victim was shot in the head and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police are continuing to investigate the area.
In speaking with Seaside Police Chief Nick Borges, multiple individuals detained on Broadway and Flores may be connected to the shooting.
