At least 60,000 customers in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties with no power as storm moves across the Central Coast

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) – At least 60,000 of customers are without power on the Central Coast, according to PG&E’s outage map. Impacted customers are in Pebble beach, Carmel Valley, Santa Cruz, Felton, and Rio del Mar.

Strong winds are moving through the area with several wires down. Right now there is no estimation on when power could be restored. High wind warnings are in effect until at least 10 a.m.
