SALINAS, Calif. (KION) Nursing home workers met outside Windsor the Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Salinas Thursday to voice concerns about their safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Workers tell KION that a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), unreliable testing, and unsafe staffing levels have put them and others at risk.

The California Department of Public Health has reported 14 cases of COVID-19 at Windsor the Ridge Rehabilitation Center.

KION's Megan Meier will have more on the action workers say their employers need to take.
