Man found dead with a gunshot wound in Seaside

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION-TV):

A homicide investigation is underway in Seaside after a man was found dead with a gunshot wound.

Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement identified the victim as 54-year-old Santa Cruz resident Aaron Singleton.

Police say Singleton was found on Monterey Road south of Coe Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

A passerby called it in to police after seeing his body on the sidewalk.

Seaside Police say the investigation is ongoing and are seeking information regarding the suspect at this time.
