Salinas Police investigating homicide on E. Laurel
SALINAS, Calif. (KION)-- Salinas Police are investigating a homicide and attempted homicide that happened Sunday night.
Right before 11 p.m, officers say they responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the wooded area in the 800 block of East Laurel Dr.
Officers searched the area and found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. One male died from his wounds and the other victim, a 28-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
