Two people arrested following search warrant on Shawnee Way

SALINAS, Calif. (KION)

UPDATE 7/23/2020 12:30 p.m. Salinas police have arrested two people after serving a search warrant in the 1400 block of Shawnee Way.

The search happened at about 7 a.m. Thursday, and it was focused on 22-year-old Craig Hawley. The Auto Theft Task Force has received several drug-related complaints over the past few months.

During the search, the ATTF, SWAT, the Violence Suppression Task Force and patrol units said the found a ghost AR-15, a 12-gauge shotgun, a honey oil lab and prescription pills. Hawley and 29-year-old Ramon Raygosa were arrested on weapon and drug possession charges.

So far, five people have been detained.
