CARMEL, Calif. (KION)--On Monday, October 5th, officials responded to a call about a stranded juvenile at Point Lobos State Reserve.

Multiple first responders arrived and found a boy on a ledge after he slid down a cliff. The victim was pulled up from the ledge using a low angle rescue system, and then released into his parent’s custody.

CAL FIRE and other first responders want to remind the public to use caution when they are recreating, stay on marked trails, leave natural objects where they find them, and to not disturb the wildlife.
