MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The California Highway Patrol confirms flooding has led to several issues and closures once again on South Monterey County Roads.

So far this includes flooding in the #2 lane of northbound Highway 101 near Esperanza Road and a closure on Old Stage Road from Potter Road to Chualar Road.

In early December, heavy rain shut down Highway 101 in the same area and flooded the town of Chualar.

This is a developing story.
