Two people hospitalized after a shooting in Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. (KION) UPDATE March 7th, 2022 at 10:37 p.m. Salinas police said two people were taken to the hospital following a shooting on Soledad Street and John Street, on Monday night.
Police said the first victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. They said the second victim was found with a gunshot wound after an extensive search of the area. That person was also taken to the hospital.
No arrests have been made, according to police. This is an ongoing investigation.

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) Salinas police said people were transported to the hospital following a shooting on Soledad Street and John Street on Monday night.
Authorities said they responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. Police have not yet confirmed the number of injuries or if they have arrested any suspects. This is an ongoing investigation.
