HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION) A man was booked into the San Benito County Jail after police responded to reports of gunfire at Jessie's Gas on San Benito Street Friday.

Officers with the Hollister Police Department responded to reports that a fight had broken out at Jessie's Gas and that shots were subsequently fired at 6:11 p.m.

Upon arrival, two 18-year-old gun shot wound victims were located and taken to Hazel Memorial Hospital. Both young men were later transported to a trauma center where they remain in critical condition.

Shortly thereafter, police located a vehicle that matched the description of one seen at the scene of the crime. They arrested the driver, Ulysses Urbina, for crimes relating to the fight preceding the shooting.

Urbina is not thought to be the gunman; however, he was booked into the San Benito County Jail on a single count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
