Mee Memorial Healthcare System to Hold Flu Clinics in King City and Greenfield

KING CITY, Calif. (KION) - King City’s Mee Memorial Healthcare System is hosting free drive-through flu clinics for the community in King City and Greenfield. They are also doing testing by-appointment.

In King City, vaccinations will be available from 2-5 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 4 and 18, 2020 and Jan. 8, 2021 at the King City location at 210 Canal St.

In Greenfield, vaccinations are available at the Albert and Donna Oliveira Clinic, from 2-5 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 4 and 18, 2020 and Jan. 8, 2021 at the Greenfield clinic is located at 467 El Camino Real. Some fees may apply.

Doctors at Mee Memorial Healthcare System say it’s likely that the flu and COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter as people begin to move indoors. They want to remind people that a flu vaccine will not protect against COVID-19, but there are many important benefits, such as: 

• Reducing the risk of flu illness, hospitalization, and more

• Saving healthcare precious resources for patients with COVID-19
