San Benito High School’s name officially changed to Hollister High School

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV)-- During last night's Board of Trustees meeting a vote was cast to officially change San Benito High School to Hollister High School.

The school was established in 1875 so the change comes after 147 years. Constant confusion was had because the school was located in Hollister but was named after the county.

This name change better reflects the location of the school.
