Hollister Police arrest gang member with handgun in vehicle

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV)-- A Hollister Police Officer made a traffic arrest Tuesday in Downtown Hollister and found a loaded handgun.

The driver was on felony probation for a gang-related offense and was pulled over Tuesday for a "minor mechanical lighting violation."

The driver was taken to San Benito County Jail for violating probation and new weapons charges.
