Crews contain fire in Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) A small fire burning in Santa Cruz County has been contained, according to Cal Fire CZU.

Smoke from the fire was first seen just before 10 a.m. on Alert Wildfire's Loma Prieta camera, and firefighters responded to the area.

Cal Fire said it launched an "aggressive air attack," but since then, the aircraft have been released.

The fire was contained at about three-quarters of an acre.
