Here is where Central Coast families in need can pick up food ahead of Thanksgiving

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION)--This Thanksgiving because of the pandemic's aftermath, more families than ever are expected to take advantage of help from food banks and various organizations.

Here is a list of those on the Central Coast stepping in to help make sure everyone gets a meal this holiday:

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 25TH

Food Bank for Monterey County: Dennis the Menace parking lot at 777 Pearl Street. Drive thru or walk up from 10 am-2pm. Reservations are required. Register here: www.monterey.org/rec **RESERVATIONS FULL**

UFW Foundation food distribution: 118 E. Gabilan Street, Salinas at 4 pm.

Salinas First United Methodist individual dinner feed: 11:30 am-1 pm

City of Greenfield Thanksgiving deliveries for seniors: contact abarsenas@ci.greenfield.ca.us or call 831-540-9830 before Nov 25th.

Santa Cruz County Food Bank drive-thru distribution: Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds 9 am-1 pm.

Thanksgiving Direct Distributions (MoCo Food Bank):

9:00 King City Fairgrounds- 625 Division Street, King City

10:00 San Ardo-Cattleman Road & College Road, San Ardo

10:00 Salinas Valley Community Church 368-San Juan Grade Road, Salinas

Thanksgiving Distributions run by other organizations (Food Bank provides the food):

8:30 Family Christian Center-111 Prado Street, Salinas

9:30 Prunedale Senior Center-8300 #A Prunedale N. Road, Prunedale

10:00 St. Mary’s by the Sea-146 12th Street, Pacific Grove

10:00  (SENIOR BOXES) Salvation Army – Salinas-2460 N. Main Street

3500 additional meals that will be delivered tomorrow.
