Vegetation fire reported in Copperhead Canyon

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION)

UPDATE 10/27/2020 9 a.m. Fort Hunter Liggett officials said the fire has been controlled and the incident is closed.

PREVIOUS STORY: A vegetation fire has been reported in Copperhead Canyon, according to Fort Hunter Liggett officials.

They said it is about 100 acres, and it is located of Bryson Hesperia Road, which is off Interlake Road.

There is currently no threat to Fort Hunter Liggett, but officials said smoke is visible in that area.
