Two King City men arrested in connection to assault, stabbing

KING CITY, Calif. (KION) Two King City men have been arrested in connection to an assault and stabbing that happened Saturday.

Police responded to the 100 block of Pearl Street for a report of domestic violence, and they found a person who appeared to be the victim of an assault.

A second person also went to Mee Memorial Hospital and claimed that he was stabbed at the same address on Pearl Street.

During the investigation, officers interviewed several people at the scene, and they found that both people, 43-year-old Thomas Monroy and 47-year-old Ysidro Fores, were responsible for assaulting each other.

Both suspects were arrested and later booked into the Monterey County Jail on assault with a deadly weapon charges.
