HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION) Hollister police are searching for the suspect in a series of vandalism incidents that have happened in the city.

During the week of Oct. 1, police said they received reports of vandalism in several parts of the city that depicted the word "worm" in red spray paint. One of the incidents at the Veterans Memorial building caught the suspect on camera vandalizing signage.

Investigators are using camera footage to identify the suspect, and they describe him as a Hispanic man who was wearing a black t-shirt with a graphic on the front, khaki shorts, white shoes and a gray or black hat with a white logo.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Officer Bryce Morgan at 831-638-4331 or 800-78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
