Gilroy teacher creates free desks for local students in need

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION)

Andrew Williams is a wood shop teacher at Christopher High School in Gilroy who is using his skills and talents to create desks for students who may not have work spaces for their distance learning during the pandemic

A total of eight desks are to be given to students at Cerra Vista Elementary School, Monday.

Williams hopes this movement will spread nationwide and is asking for donations and volunteers.
