Salinas neighborhood evacuated due to natural gas leak

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) A Salinas neighborhood was evacuated Tuesday afternoon because of a natural gas leak.

Salinas Police, Salinas Fire and PG&E responded to the area around Cherokee Drive and Cadiz Circle and closed the area to vehicle traffic.

Residents have since been allowed to return home.
