Did you feel it? Magnitude 3.9 earthquake Wednesday night East of King City

7 29 EARTHQUAKE

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION)

The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.9 earthquake along the San Andreas Fault in Monterey County, Wednesday night.

The earthquake occurred at 8:23 p.m., east of King City and west of Priest Valley, near Highway 198.

The USGS "shake map" shows the earthquake was felt across the Salinas Valley, in areas north of Salinas, and towards the Monterey Peninsula.
