Salinas Lucky temporarily closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19

The Salinas Lucky store on South Main Street is closed until Monday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19, according to a notice posted at the store.

In the notice, The Save Mart Companies said the individual last entered the store on July 4th and was there between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m.

As a precuation, the company is temporarily closing the store until Monday morning for sanitation.

"We are committed to transparency during these extraordinary times," the company wrote on the notice.

The store will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Monday, July 6.
