SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) UC Santa Cruz police said they have made an arrest in connection to recent vehicle burglaries on campus.

The department said they went to locations around the county where a stolen credit card was used, and based on surveillance video, they identified Bryan Moore as a person of interest along with a woman who police said is associated with the burglaries.

Deputies with the Monterey County Sheriff's Office found and detained Moore Monday in Aptos.

When UCSC police got there, they said they got information confirming that he was a suspect in the burglaries.

Moore was arrested, cited and released with a court date. He is facing vehicle burglary, theft and credit card fraud charges.
