Santa Cruz man arrested in connection to September attack at Elks Lodge

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) A Santa Cruz man was arrested in connection to an attack with a skateboard in September of last year.

Police said they responded to the Elks Lodge on Jewell Street for a report of someone attacking a member with a skateboard on Sept. 5. Officers searched the area, but were not able to find the suspect.

Police said they used DNA evidence to identify Daniel Keough as the suspect in the attack.

Keough was arrested on assault with a deadly weapons charges Wednesday and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
